Motorcyclist, 68, killed east of Havelock – Peterborough

A 68-year outdated male motorcyclist died in a two-car accident on Highway 7 simply east of Havelock across the midday hour.  Peterborough County OPP report the motorcyclist was travelling westbound when it was struck by an eastbound automotive as he was trying to show left at Sama Park Road.  He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.  The feminine driver of the automotive was handled for minor accidents in hospital.  Highway 7 between Belmont 2nd Line and Blairton Road was closed for a number of hours whereas OPP Traffic Technical Investigators measured and documented the scene. The trigger of the crash stays underneath investigation and the id of the sufferer won’t be launched till subsequent of kin are notified.
