Move over Gene Simmons, there’s an even bigger tongue on the town.
A brand new face has entered the Guinness World Record Book, and it’s most likely a bit slobbery.
Mochi, eight, a rescue St. Bernard from Sioux Falls, SD, is the brand new record-holder for longest canine tongue.
Mochi’s tongue measures a whopping 7.31 inches, and proprietor Carla Rickert says that they’re typically stopped by passersby who need to get a pic with Mochi.
“It feels truly amazing to be a part of the Guinness World Records: Amazing Animals book! We are so grateful for the opportunity to make others smile.”
She adopted Mochi, who she describes as “a resilient, happy-go-lucky dog, with a big personality” from the Colorado-based Big Dogs, Huge Paws rescue six years in the past. The nonprofit rescues canines weighing 100 kilos or extra.
Mochi, whom the household typically calls “Mo” for brief, enjoys dressing up in costumes, having her image taken, spending time along with her household and snacking on candy potatoes, she added.
Congratulations to this pretty mild big!
