The West End’s Empire Landmark Hotel shall be closing Saturday with a wrecking ball on the way in which.
Owner Johnny Tsang says there’s one factor he’ll miss greater than something, and it’s not the 360 diploma view from the restaurant.
“I’m going to miss all the people here. The people working with me because I’m originally from Toronto. Then I came over for the last 14 years to work in this hotel. That’s why I said this is my family.”

“It’s a people business. So it’s not working with machines and I really consider myself lucky that I have had a good team working with me for all this time.”
The 357-room resort bought for $46.5 million last yr and shall be was two 30-storey towers.
