Two off-duty members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and one off-duty Los Angeles police officer have been wounded by gunfire in Sunday evening’s mass taking pictures throughout an open-air live performance in Las Vegas.
The taking pictures and subsequent stampede left at the least 50 individuals useless and greater than 400 individuals injured throughout Jason Aldean’s live performance on the Route 91 Harvest competition, Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo stated Monday morning.
The unidentified members of the Sheriff’s Department have been off-duty and attending the music competition on the time of the taking pictures, in keeping with a division information launch.
One member was in steady situation and the opposite was hospitalized in essential situation, in keeping with the Sheriff’s Department.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and victims of this horrific mass shooting,” the information launch learn.
The LAPD officer wounded in the taking pictures was hit in the leg and was in steady situation, Sgt. Cuedo stated.
The officer is a 7-year veteran of the division and presently works on the LAPD’s Foothill Division, Cuedo stated.
